My name is Arkham, I’m 15, LGBT, and from Essex. I started out photography when I was very young but got my first DSLR camera for my 14th birthday.
2 – Where did your journey with gig photography start?
I went to see my favourite band, the Levellers, last June and met the photographer from the event that night. I told him I had a passion for photography he told me to shoot my shot and ask to be their photographer.
3 – In a world of ever changing technology, do you think it is important that gig photographers still shoot gigs?
It’s so important. Not only does it give the photographer a possible once-in-a-lifetime experience, it also captures the best parts of a gig.
4 – What photographer/s do you look up to?
My friend, Stephen Johnson, mainly.

Being able to experience the gig in a slightly more personal way and being responsible for what light you show the musician(s) in, figuratively.
9 – What inspires you?
Competition inspires me. To build myself up to be better than everyone else eventually 😂.
