I’ve been interested in photography since around the age of 8, I’d say. My family had a little compact fujifilm camera and I was always on there taking random shots. I’ve experimented with landscape, nature, portraits but now that I’m 18, I’ve realised that music photography is what I love the most. I also think I fell out of love with photography a bit whilst being at Secondary school, as most of what I shot was for really random briefs and I had plenty of adults telling me that I couldn’t make a career out of Photography.
Recently I’ve been shooting local venues and bands and received my first official photo pass for O2 Islington. I’m really enjoying building my portfolio and meeting new and super talented people!
My goal for the next year or so is to become a touring music photographer with bands and musicians. In terms of a bucket list, I would love to shoot those who have really helped me get through some tough times with their music. I grew up listening to the 1975 and Shawn Mendes’ music made me realise, in 2018, that I wanted to be a music photographer! I would also love to shoot bands that I grew up listening to, such as: The Arctic Monkeys, Keane, Snow Patrol, Radiohead, Elbow, Coldplay. I would love this year to be filled with gigs, no matter what size as this is what I love to do!
