King King opened the first night of their 2019 Tour with a visit to the legendary Rock City.Getting the evening started, they had the incredible Blues singer from New York USA Sari Schorr opening for them with her soulful Blues with amazing sounds and stage chemistry.
Celebrating 10 years together and the first night of xx dates around the UK, King King came out to a packed venue on a cold Thursday night to rock the evening away to incredible Rock and Blues sounds.
The band played an awesome set that had a mixture of tracks including a selection from their award winning Exile & Grace album.
During a guitar solo by lead Alan Nimmo you could have heard a pin drop – the audience was almost in silence as he took the sounds way down and mesmerised everyone with his incredible talent.
The whole place gave a roar of appreciation when Alan gave a special mention and thanks to their cherished base player Lyndsey Coulson who will very sadly be leaving the band at the end of the Tour.
The music seemed to pour from the guys very souls as they gave everything they had on stage, yet the whole set was still played with the same precision that you would expect from a studio album – it was simply breathtaking.
At the end of the night the guys saluted their fans and gave thanks by playing out to a few favourites.
If you have not heard KING King before I strongly suggest that you go and get yourself a ticket for one of the remaining dates on the tour before they sell out.
