Following it’s inaugural launch in 2018, the Neighbourhood Weekender returns to Victoria Park, Warrington on May 25th and 26th 2019. Platinum selling George Ezra will headline the festival on Saturday and the Ivor Novello-winning former Verve frontman, Richard Ashcroft on Sunday. Tickets for last year’s Weekender sold out within 4 hours of going on sale, so organisers are expecting this to be an equally popular event.
The Neighbour Weekender boosts some of the biggest acts around, (Primal Scream, The Vaccines, You Me At Six, The Charlatans, Tom Grennan, Nothing But Thieves, Slaves, The Amazons, Gerry Cinnamon, The Slow Readers Club, Embrace, Gaz Combes, Maximo Park, Mystery Jets and Kate Nash to name but a few.) together with some of the best breaking new acts (Pale Waves, The Hunna, Sea Girls, Fuzzy Sun, Jade Bird, Maisie Peters and Not Hot Ashes.)
Festival goers will be able to visit The Neighbourhood, an alternative entertainment space. This spectacular onsite village encapsulates innovative art and street theatre as well as live DJ sets within local establishments The Neighbourhood Inn and The Corner Shop. In addition, Interactive entertainment can be found throughout the festival site.
Festival organisers are encouraging festival goers to use public transport (Parking is limited) to get to the festival. Victoria park is a short walk from Warrington city centre and around a 20 minute walk from Warrington rail stations.
