What to get excited about at Slam Dunk

Slam Dunk 2019 Preview

With Summer just around the corner, the festval season kicks off this May Bank Holiday weekend. Slam Dunk returns for it’s 13th year and there’s lots to get excited about.

From it’s humble beginnings with just one stage, the festival has grown into a huge event now featuring several stages and an impressive line-up. Slimmed down from three days, the festival has moved into a much larger two day event set in parkland. This year will be the biggest year to date, both in terms of location and artists.

The Jägermeister and Monster stages will no doubt be a huge draw for festival goers. Welsh veterans, Bullet For My Valentine headline the Jägermeister Stage (Make sure to catch ATREYU, Story of The Year, The Word Alive, The Plot In You, Silverstein and Wage War). The Monster stage is headlined by All Time Low (Also New Found Glory, As It Is, Neckdeep, Waterparks, Simple Plan, Boston Manor and WSTR). A surprise addition to the festival are the Plain White T’s, this is a band who you won’t want to miss.

This year, the festival will include Punk In Drublic Festival, which comes to the UK for the first time. Here you can catch headliners NOFX.

When you are all moshed out and had enough crowd surfing then you can take a break and relax to the sounds of John Floreani, Lizzy Farrall, Liam Cromby and Justin Pierreat at the new Acoustic stage

Slam Dunk promises to one party that you won’t want to miss. Tickets are still available and can be found here.

More information can be found on the Slam Dunk website.
