Coombe Weekender To Make An Impact In Historic Coventry Grounds.

Bringing indie, rock, pop and more to Coventry for its debut year – Coombe Weekender offers something different for festival goers, the line-up brings a variety of musical genres, cultures.

Held in the historic Coombe Abbey over the weekend of  3rd & 4th August, the weekender will feature two stages (Main and Big Top),  and will see local bands (Athens, Candid and BLVFF) play on the same stage as top acts such as The Libertines, Circa Waves and Kelis.

Saturday is strictly over 18s only and be headlined by The Libertines, promising to bring a post-punk throwback to the early 2000’s. Tom Grennan and Circa Waves also take the main stage, ensuring to draw crowds with distinctive indie pop sounds that get feet bouncing along.

Sunday is more family orientated and will see acts such as MK (Marc Kinchen) and Sigala offer something for younger audiences through dance music and summer tunes. Main Stage also has something for an older audience with Toploader and The Craig Charles Funk and Soul.

There is limited parking available on site (must be booked in advance) so festival goers are encouraged to make use of the free shuttle bus from Coventry Airport and Coventry Train station
